The name ‘Kitchen Rings’ is significant for two main reasons and a third.
Kitchen ‘Rings’ as in ‘Circles of Influence’
Everything that occurs in a kitchen is connected. If you think about it, you will agree that your ingredients, their storage and preparation, the passing of traditions from generations, the places you go to, the friends you have, the stories you read and the videos you watch… They all flow from one to the other seamlessly.
And so, we came to the conclusion that these are all circles of influence that ring in the connections to the decision of the meal of the day.
Kitchen ‘Rings’ as in the ‘Brrrring’ sound of an urgent bell.
Because, cooking is not something that is to be dismissed. It is actually a skill that sustains one of the most basic needs of a human being—food. Such a lot depends on what you eat.
Caring for ourselves is important. But so is caring for each other, and for our planet. If we do not take the right steps, we will regret it sooner or later.
Our kitchen cares, for your health, for the needy and for the Earth.
The Third Reason!
Did I mention that we had daily thinking activity, “What to call the website?”!! Out of the hundreds we discussed, ‘Kitchen Rings’ was the name we all agreed upon!
